A LANGUAGE
Have you seen a cat slouching on the ground in the shade of a tree in a scorching summer sun? I just did! It even turned and twisted it's head to look up where I stood; and lay back to a comfortable position once again. We could talk if we spoke a common language, I thought. The way it looked at me ,it seemed to convey in a tacit way how good it felt lying down like the way it did.
Soon I started thinking and brooding over the idea of us humans, sharing a common language with the other creatures on the planet. We could have a deal with the wild creatures on how they conduct themselves when they hunt and kill for a living ; considering off course ; the maintenance of a similar protocol of living boundaries! Wild animals in the jungle and our own chosen pet creatures with us! They could inform us how we cause them harm and what should be the solution to all the grievances on both the sides?
Language is of vital importance in the perspective of a sustainable future. There should be a common language that is shared by all and sundry on the planet! The common language must not contain space for any word that possess the capability to inflict pain or disgrace on others. It should not contain any word that may hurt feelings! Only good understanding, solidarity and love should form the structure of the language. But we also cannot ignore the importance of the words that we may choose not to use. The fact remains that the existence of opposites makes it possible to have a better meaning of each contrary aspect. So there should be presence of only the important bad words so that an equilibrium is maintained.
Off course it will take time for all living creatures to be well versed in the common language and for that purpose we shall need schools for learning the language. Everything or every good thing require time and patience. We must disentangle the chains of the idea which force us to believe that only human beings are good. We are superior or only we are enough to sustain a good life without the need of any other creature.
Not only the other creatures who cannot understand our language but even within ourselves, we always fight and dispute over endless issues that could be well resolved with a common language which keep regard and respect for all other languages. We must think more .
So , what was the question? Yes, I was wondering of a common school of a common language . Also I must reiterate, the value of all lives and a common language to sustain healthy interaction among all. A language that will have no words for hatred, violence, discord and unrest. A language of common existence, common nature, equity and solidarity. A language that will spur both material and spiritual growth .A language of humanity and love!

A Love Story
Have you seen how little sparrows chirp and spatter? How they push each other to grab hold of a grain of rice? They look so adorable even when they fight. For reasons best known to their tiny little minds, they never trust me even though I have seen them comply with or accommodate the loving approach of strangers or other humans equally unknown to them . They don't seem to get the instinct that I can be trusted for a little while .
The tiny creatures' conduct surely matched my mother's opinion of me !
Do you think it is only the tiny cute birds that grab my attention always ? I love all the cute innocent creatures in the world except ....
well except the harmful and evil lot of the human animal which do not deserve any kind of love or kindness! OK I will tell you about that lot some other time.
I should inform that I do not live too far away from a huge house of animals which is called a zoo in the urban perspective and a jungle in the wild. Here I mean a zoo!
I often walk into the confines of the well constructed accommodation which is shelter (of sorts) for various wild creatures.
The lean Royal tiger who seems to possess both the natural wild instinct to attack and also a capacity of old age wisdom hidden behind its intruding eyes always attract my attention. It is also known as the Royal Bengal Tiger.
I wonder what if it gets out somehow and pounces on some one without a warning sign? The moment I wonder of the possibility, I get a shiver which is intimidating. I wonder about numerous possibilities if I lose my way inside a jungle? But here it is imprisoned!
I saw there was raw skinned chicken on a rusty plate close by the door of the tiger cell !
As if it read my mind, the tiger really moved like a sinister villain towards the chicken.
I stepped back too. I heard the roaring, barking, howling and screeching of animals and birds emanating from all sides and corners of the zoo!
I was walking alone, all alone treading over the well cemented lanes winding up the hilly terrain of the landscape inside the zoo. But the zoo was not solitary at all. It was full of crowds comprising friends , families, and other strangers who made groups together to roam around the zoo to see the animals.
I was getting late and since I lived nearby ,I decided to move out of the place. The main gate was about half a kilometer from where I stood. As I turned around to walk towards the gate, a huge monkey screeching loud ,was swinging on the trees and seemed to be moving towards me. I was at my wits end, when I saw that I was totally exposed to a heinous assault by a member of very similar ancestry!
" Madam , you know that you should not venture alone into every corner of this place. Today you are safe because we came on time." said one of the guards.
"Oh thanks a lot bhaiyaji !I will be careful in future" I answered.
One of the guards escorted me till the zoo gate and ensured my safe passage till a safe spot on the road outside. I walked back thinking of monkeys, guards, the face of some creature peeping through a hole in one of the cells whose identity I had decided to find some other time and many other things!
